Silver Lake

I took this picture in 2019 at the Silver Lake Campground in California. While on a cross country road trip with some friends, and continuing the reroute away from Yosemite following poor road conditions, we spent the day hiking around Silver Lake. I took this picture about a quarter of the way up on a neighboring mountain while hiking to a waterfall positioned on the side of the mountain. The way the lake was encompassed by mountains was impressive and made me appreciate the grandness that exists within mountain landscapes.
